You said what I was thinking.

Now to get those people off my grass.

Let me tell you, if you make a joke, be darned sure it says "I am joking", put all kinds of disclaimers in it and use all kinds of those little smiling faces....

If you want to find out how thin skinned grumpy old men are jest post something in just or use a bit of sarcasm....

There are several grumpy old men that feel it is their duty to be grumpy...

Was out at the gun range this morning. A few old guys and one or two younger fellas. Us old guys were comparing our aches and pains when I spot one of the young guys grinning. My words to him were,

"You have no idea what the pains are we're talking about, but with good luck you may live long enough to experience them."

There has been, is and always will be a difference
of opinion and how that expressed opinion is
viewed or taken.

Especially when age is involved.
The difference between the "Grumpy old Men"
and the "Young Whippersnappers" will be there.

Life s too short to take either with more than a grain of salt.

I totally agree with the OP I have experienced some of the same thing, look we all have some things in common with each other like we all RV hence the sight RV2 so we can share things with those that are less knowledgable than these experienced RVers and provide help without degrading them, SHOW SOME LOVE.

I'm not very old and certainly not grumpy, but I have been thinking the last few weeks about cancelling Christmas this year and using the money for gas or shakeys pizza parlor. Them mojo potatoes beat fruitcake anytime.

Aren't there laxatives you can take for that?

I'm old and curmudgeonly, not grumpy!

"Naughty" is a better description, me thinks.
It was one of the great lines ever said back when TV was quite prudish.

Pull up to a light last night. Guy is dragging the light bar behind his toad. I toot my horn and yell about the lights. He gives me the look, you know the look. I think should I yell louder or what? I yell again and he ignores me and drives on. He was grumpy to start with, I bet more so when he stopped.

When I first started posting on this sight, I replied to a thread "I don't mean to hijack this post, but" and asked a question that related to the op's post ( at least in my tiny brain) . I received a PM from a G/jerk. .f who let me know that off topic posting was NOT nice. He/ she/ it has apparently never come across " not nice", on the planet I live on. Lol. Not a mod. Just a putz who had a bad day ( I hope). Only instance of " not nice " since I've been here. Love IRV2.
