Toad keys are MIA

I came back to my MH yesterday afternoon and was working on a report until 1:30AM, I was exhausted so I went to bed and awoke at 5:30AM, I know a solid 4 hours sleep to finish the report. As I was leaving for a meeting around 8AM I realize I can not find my keys to the Jeep. It's now 4:45PM and they have not surfaced so the DW is sending me our spare via FEDEX.

I am convinced one of my dogs ate those keys. My female Wheaten Terrier was giving me the stink eye all night because I was in her spot on the sofa as I worked all night. I think she ate them as pay back, all I know is she sure looks comfortable cuddled up in a ball in that very spot.

Well, it's a good thing if she ate them. You will get them back in a couple of days.

I keep a spare set of kris for the rig and toad up front by the generator. Used them many times. My dog eats keys too.

Don't worry- if the dog ate them, I'm sure everything will come "out" all right!

Watch your Wheaton for signs of distress, keys are hard to pass I'm sure. To help things along you can get some canned raw pumpkin at the store, not the pie filling. Feed it to your dog in a large quantity for a few days. You can augment the regular meal or replace it which ever. It will bulk her up and get her ready for a large size exhaust.

No I am joking about "Bella" swallowing the keys. I also usually bring the spare set and hang them up. I went home 2 weeks ago and left them behind.

Those keys will either surface one day (probably 10 min after FEDEX arrives) or they are somewhere in this park 2" from where one of my dogs did their business and I pulled a plastic bag out to clean up the "stuff".

I was thinking of squeezing her and see if the power doors locked.

At least they'er not lost anly MIA. I am paranoid about having several sets of key in the toad and MH ever since Idiot Dog locked me out of my truck with the engine running.

I have a spare set of keys that will unlock the doors hidden underneath every vehicle I own in one of those magnetic key holders. But, in this day and age with a stupid chip in every key the spare key will not start the truck.

If I ever loose the original I'm doomed. You can have the vehicle towed to a dealer but, it has to be the dealer for that type of vehicle. And, then they can build you a new key. But, dealers are getting few and far between around my area and the towing fees and the charge to make a new key would sure ruin my summer quick.
