Any possibility - however remote it might be - they just didn't want to give you a jump for some reason and that's why they "forgot" how to do it?

Gotta watch those rednecks...never know what they might do.

What REWahoo posted or the trucks are a facade and they were too busy with their Blackberries and iPods.

No need to get your drawers in a bunch. I'm a redneck, and I'm here to tell you some of them couldn't grab their butt with both hands. Spend some time down in the bayou. there are some wonderful rednecks down there and there are some terminally stupid ones. Unless you need help, they sure are fun to watch.

Hi Chuck,
Don't take this the wrong way but what makes someone a redneck. I'm from the north and have heard the term but it seems to be in the eyes of the beholder of what it means.

It's origins are somewhat derogatory eminating from the deep south describing poor farm workers----that was 150 years ago. Jeff Foxworthy takes the sting out of it with self deprecating humor, popularizing it. I'm from the mid-west and always thought it to be a person who works hard, lives a thrifty life, manual labor toiling in the sun---ie---redneck. My neighbor is a PhD and I am sure he cannot jump a battery and often would not want too if he could. Unfriendliness wears many stripes---------------

Norm,
That is a very good explanation. By the time one learns all the nuances of life its time to check out.
