No snow here in SW Ohio but it's going to be damn cold. I think 16 degrees or so tonight and snow tomorrow afternoon. Last year at this time it was 81 and sunshine. I think mother nature had a bad Christmas and is screwing with us.

I know this year is much differnet than last year. Heck In mid Dec last year I took the MH to Cleveland for four days. This year, heck who knows when we will see grass.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

I was amazed when my sister from the UK reported that it was going to be 5 degrees F tonight. Our overnight low is expected around 40F and tomorrow's high will be in the mid-50's. Unfotunately it will be raining - probably for the next 5 days, but at least it will be warm rain!

You begin to appreciate having webbed feet around here sometimes, but the clear, sunny 75-degree days in June through late August are worth the grief, particularly when the humidity is down around 20%. After three years in the soggy, hot climate around Tidewater Virginia, I sure appreciate the climate here. My sister, who lives in the UK, says Anacortes is where God goes on vacation. Can't say we've ever seen Him!

The older I get the better winters in the south look like, kicking back with my bride and having a brewsky.... sending weather segments to our friends back home.. like our friends in AZ are doing to us now.

I was going to work on unwinterizing last weekend but it snowed, have to get it out this weekend because our first trip starts Wednesday for a four day show in Syracuse. Still going to be only 40's and 20's at night. May wait to fill up with water until just before we leave. After that we will have the heaters on so not to freeze the pups. Last year we ran the air the whole weekend. I think more heat this year. Wish I was in North Carolina at the National Specialty rather than still here in Upstate NY.

With the snow we're supposed to get this afternoon, we'll have a whole army of those.
