Too Hot

Wanted to wash my truck yesterday but decided that I needed to sleep.

It was 100* at 8:00 AM when I pulled into the driveway. Self, not today.

Moved it back to the side of the house.

Had the same intention this morning but decided to pay someone to detail it next week.

Lazy or smart?

If you can afford it, it's smart. If you can't afford it, it's lazy!

Yup, been there, never want to again. I've never been able to handle hot weather well ever since. When it's hot I look for a Blue Beacon RV wash@ $35 for a 40' coach.

It wasn't stupid hot around here this past weekend - but definitely warm (mid 80's). Being that we've been out almost every weekend since the beginning of April - foregoing the madhouse that the 4th of July weekend tends to be was in our cards. Instead, we decided that this was going to be the weekend to detail the coach.

I hand waxed all 43+ feet of 'er - from top to bottom, polished with aluminum wheels, shined up the tires, Rain-X'ed all the windows. While I worked the outside, my DW did the inside - washing all the windows, hitting all the woodwork with furniture polish, giving all the leather (driver and passenger seats, couch and loveseat) a good cleaning with leather cleaner/conditioner and finally giving the ceramic tile floor a good scrub.

We put in two very long days . I'm sunburned and can barely move my arms ... but , hey, the coach looks like new! We're ready for the rest of the season!
