Trucker avoids disaster - amazing video!

Either a real stroke of good luck ... or some seriously fantastic driving!

The Canadian Weather Network was showing this clip too.
I, can only try to imagine the drivers reaction , after he got the rig stopped.
Thankfully , 1, He was able to walk away. 2, He has this video as proof , he didn't just fall asleep and run off the road into the field. Which the Highway patrol might conclude if they had only the tire tracks to use as part of an investigation.

That driver had excellent skill and balance reaction. Hat is off to him for his ability to restore balance and take a course where the wind factor was eliminated. He probably had wobbly knees for a while after that.

Chickens ...

... what the video is not showing is what happened as he drove off the road ... He demolished some fencing, sent 3 cows to the barbecue sooner than planned and went through a commercial Perdue chicken farm, destroying the building and shredding 100,000 chickens ...

Yeah... the same "somebody" who tried to blow the truck over in the first place.

WOW!! Kudos to the driver. These conditions come on quick, but the driver obviouly understood the dynamics...and making a hard right turn to recover from the rollover was surely a tactic the driver positively employed.

I would expect that would work for any high profile vehicle. Better to eat the fence vs. a rollover.

Safe travels

That was driving by the seat of his pants_. As the instructor said, you can't teach that. The best part, he got to see his family again.
