First car driven legally I think would be my brothers 70? Torino wagon ( maybe that's why I still love old wagons turned into hot rods).
Favorite hmm .. Well for overall great vehicle my 89 Niisan SEV6 pickup. 3.0 V6 5 speed, great reliability, mpg. , plenty of power for what I used it for, comfertable, did I say reliable.
my favorite toy was my 75 GMC shortbed pickup, factory 454/t400 3.73 posi, lowered, mild hotrod muscle truck. Lots of fun.

My all time fav and first car 1971 Volvo P-1800E fuel injected sport touring car. 4 speed with an overdrive all leather. What a great car and a chick magnate when that mattered. I currently own a 1971 GTO Judge. 455 with a 4 speed... not as refined as the Volvo but hands down pure horsepower and raw slam you in the seat back torque while smoking the rear tires fun. If I owned that car as my first, I would have died in it. The rest of the time my daily commute car is an 06 Prius.

1- 1933 Dodge PU. When I was 15 I drove a 35 Ford 1 1/2T grain truck (with mechanical brakes) hauling wheat. My 1st car was a 36 Chev. when I was 16.

2- '56 Ford Fairlane 4 door hardtop. It was the only one like it that I have ever seen. Lots of 2 door but only 4 door. Wish I had kept it.

First: 1967 Mustang. 289 AT.

Favorite is difficult. The Mustang maybe. It also could have been my '95 Miata, my '86 RX7, my Eclipse GSX, my '83 CJ7 or my Excursion. I still have the last two.

First car driven when I was 12 was a 56 Plymouth, then a 37 Chevy a friend and I owned together. Great fun cruising around after dark on the back roads of Eastern Washington. First legal car would have been a 55 Plymouth. Most fun car would be the 65 Mustang with a 289 High-Per engine (progressive quad, 260 HP). A real ticket car.

1st 69 Olds 442 with 454 automatic
2nd Tough Question, hard to answer, I've had a lot of cars & several have special memories that place them at the top for different reasons. 79 Plymouth Sapporo, most people never heard of it or knew what it was when they seen it. 2600cc 5sp. Made by Mitsubishi. or 2008 Mazda MX5 also know as the Miata, Mazda tried to do away with the girl car image so they dropped the name Miata for a few years, now they call it the MX5 Miata. 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser, can go where none of the others would dare.

A little more Plymouth import trivia.

The lower line model was the Plymouth Arrow, available as a car or truck.
It's cousin was a Plymouth Champ, available with Twin stick (a 4 speed with a 2 speed differential)
The Sapporo later evolved into the Chrysler Conquest TSI.
When I worked for Chrysler in the early 80's these where the best trouble free cars you could buy with an American nameplate.
