Unexpected RV trip to moms funeral

A week and a half ago my 78 yo mother tripped over a cat and fell in he sunken den hitting the step with her chin and throwing her head back violently. She broke her neck at C2. Prognosis was ok with her expected to wear a halo for 6 months. She was ambulatory but in a great deal of pain. Today I get a call that she stopped breathing and passed away suddenly.

Thankfully, we have the RV. We will make the trek to California for the Memorial service.likely will pick up my brother in New Mexico on the way. I can't handle flying so this gives us an opportunity to,pay our last respects. I'm so glad we have a reliable RV.

So sorry for your loss.

Yes - the RV is a great Plan B when not being used as Plan A. Lousiana is flooding and I hope some of those folks have a good Plan B they are staying in.

My condolences as well.
In 2010 I was 1600 miles from my home in Fl. ( South Texas ) and got a call that my 89 year old Mother fell and broke her femur bone. I drove home in a little over two days and then flew to NY to be with her. She passed five months later.
