Up-Date, bicycle damage to MH cargo door

Up-Date from last September

Found out which kid hit my MH cargo door with his bycycle. A friend of theirs (ex-body shop guy) is repairing my door in his buddys shop. They are paying him. (where is shop) my mistake.

I took a chance on him as I wanted the family (2 or 3 of them in 1 house) to pay. They realy just want me to back off and do nothing.

Can't get my door back. He has many excuses why it's not done yet. Since I don't speak Spanish, it's hard to decern what is really true.

Of course if I could afford the 1500 deduct I would of just done it myself. They have no money and all of a sudden don't speak English.

Of course they drive better cars than I and have I-Phones. What's new about people living on my dime.

If I knew this was going to be such a circus I would of just lived with the damage door. Can't make them mad as then they would find one of their buddys to tag (paint neat designs) on my MH.

Will give another up-date later

Thanks for listening (depressed MH owner) the bank owns part of it.

I hope you at least called the police and got a police report. That is what happened to my dads truck, some kid was riding his bike and smoked the side of the truck. He denied it but there was people that seen the whole thing. They ended up getting insurance involved and paid for the damages.

After 6 weeks I got my cargo door back from the family's friend. It was repaird satisfactory. I was lucky on that one.

We hope to find a rental house, better location, this spring. If I was single I would just fire up the MH and head south.

I had to bite my ,, fingers,, to keep from replying to your first post... I feel your pain,,, as we have thousands of non-english speaking people around here. (MOSTLY BY THEIR CHOICE,, a lot illegal) ... I choose not to learn that language... Best of luck to you sir... Glad you got things resolved,, And thanks for serving our country...

Years ago the first wife and I had a TT parked beside the house, the paper boy (remember those?) used the alley for a shortcut and run into the side of the TT. Naturally he denied it but my wife had been up and looking out the window and saw it. It's been so long (over 40 years) that I don't remember how much it cost him.

I think I would have found a police man that spoke Spanish and asked him if he would be an interpreter. Might work.

Happy to hear of a happy ending.
