update on Coast Guard family

Well we are now in Texas and things are buzzing. Movers will be here Friday to pack up. When you get my age, it is so mind boggling, but I did it many times. After the cleanup on Sunday we will be heading to Mobile and then to Mayport and on to Miami Beach. Our grand daughter and her son will split off in Mayport and head for Virginia Beach. We will be driving our rv and pulling a small truck. Our grandson will be in a truck pulling his boat. Whew!!! If you see a caravan on I 10 that's us. Please be patient.

Still no house but looking for end of June or July 1st. The Coast Guard decided Zack( my grandson) needed to brush up on his skills before going on a Cutter, so they are sending him to Yorktown VA to school for three weeks. Just what he needed! We plan to stay in Fl for awhile to look for a house.
Life is Good.
Going home to North Carolina will be a little boring.
I can't remember if I said thanks for the reply's but read the forum in my spare time. Wish us luck and don't forget to thank Zack. He is on Facebook Zack Humphrey.

Don, Norma, Zack, Jessi, Zander, Boomer, Gracie, Koda and a cat.

Yes, please tell him THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE for me. I talk to a lot of folks and thank all of them. Just thanked another WWII veteran this morning. He was quite a character too.
