We are currently in Yuma and are considering staying for the summer (I know, crazy). My husband has Alzhiemer's so will have to switch his medical care through the VA to Yuma. We are spoiled by excellent care he gets up in Vancouver/Portland VA. I know there are areas the VA is bad but others, like Portland, that is excellent.

Anyone have experience with the VA in Yuma?

Hi, sorry no one has answered you yet. I have been looking in hopping someone would. I live in Phoenix so I don't know anything about Yuma, I have heard from others and have a friend who works here in Phoenix and everything I have heard has been good. If it gets to hot down there you can head this way if you need to and if you need help moving your rig let me know and we can head down that way and give you a hand.
Let me know if you need anything.

Although we were recently in Yuma we had no need of a hospital. I tried this site to see if there were any reviews about the VA in Yuma and didn't get any info.

The reason I gave you the link anyway is that I think if you will look at the places that are reviewed there tends to be a larger amount of people who were dissatisfied with the different institutions for what ever reason.

Human nature. So many of us will take the time to complain and seldom take the time to praise. Anyway, my thinking is -- if there are no negatives that may very well mean most are satisfied with the place.

Of course, it may take time to become accustomed to the new place if you are very happy with the old place.

Wishing you the best.

I regret your husbands situation.

That being said, where are these places the VA is bad ?

BacktoRoots said it all.
