Question Velvac Mirrors

I had to have my Monaco 2003,Diplomat towed and they tore both Velvac model 2030 mirrors off. I have talk to Velvac and I was informed that each base is molded to the coach. I'm not sure how to handle this issue. I'm on the road with only one mirror and it won't move and very hard to see out of.
I need you help.

Where are you located, there are several large RV Salvage yards that may have what you need.

I would think that the mirror base should be replaceable. Yes the mirror base requires a molded area but you should be able to replace with the same model.

Phil, I just googled Velvac 2030 mirror and I got quite a few links. Maybe try that and see if you get anything that will help. I agree with what Jim said above. I too would be lost without my mirrors. Good luck with your search.

Did you break the entire mirror? Usually when the Velvacs get whacked, they break the hollow arm and bugger up the mirror head. The arms should be a standard replacement.

I just had to replace a Velvac on my coach and I found Velvac customer service to be less than useless. After two conversations with two different "techs" I found another source. These folks are extremely friendly, helpful and understanding. And, the best part, they are cheaper than Velvac. (Still expensive, but cheaper). Give them acall.
