Verizon 55+ plan.

They don't let you know your eligible, but they offer a 55+ unlimited plan thats the same as the standard unlimited plan.

You need your " billing address " to be in Florida, Illinois, Texas, Detroit or Missouri to qualify but it just cut my bill by $60 for a 2 line plan.

Works in California too. It was called some sort of a "loyalty plan" when I changed my plan in-store. My only concern was the lower data rate when using a phone for a hotspot, but no issue with that since I don't stream anything anyway.

I've got internet service here in Or for $14.95 a month. Got a card in the mail offering it to seniors on ss and low income. I thought another come on but called and got it with no set up charges or contract, just an extra $5 for the modem. I went down from $70 a month.

We went to Verizon and they also offered us the 55+ plan. Two phones with unlimited data. Meets our needs and gives me 2 phones to turn into hot spots. Great reception and service here in SE Georgia.

How much do you guys pay for this 55+ unlimited data 2 phone plan? We have Consumer Cellular, and pay about $58/mo for 2 lines with a shared data limit. I'm curious if this plan is cheaper.

They advertised $60.00 for one line and $80.00 for 2.

We had separate phones and plans before and combining was cheaper than the $80.00 and the wife only had 3 gigs a month.

Our first bill was over $100.00 with admin fees and a bunch of junk added. We went back and told them this was not what we wanted nor what we were told. They explained that much of it was taxes, regulatory fees, 911 fees, local tariffs' yada, yada, yada. Needless to say we were a little miffed that no one told us this up front.

They refunded us a little over $20.00 and apologized. This month the bill came in electronically, and was only $70.00 with all fees included.

My new bill should be $88 ( plus the $30 phone loan payments ) with 2 lines unlimited talk, text and data.
We use up to 20 Gigs of data a month.

Tmobile has a 55+ plan. Unlimited mist everything. We pay $60/month for two phones.

We have been using the T-Mobile 55+ plan for nearly a year and other than some dead spots around the country it has worked well. Even when throttled back there is still enough bandwidth to stream off our Fire Stick. Our cost with automatic pay is $70 for two phones.

I was not aware of any State restrictions but yes they do not actively advertise it and you have to "ask" for it.

I tried the 55+ unlimited plan. I'm in California, but I was given the plan as a "loyalty" offer. It was unusable. Your data is given lower priority based on network traffic. Unless I was using it in the middle of the night, it was throttled down to what seemed like dial-up speed. It was virtually unusable.
I finished out the month and went back to my previous plan.

Check for the Military discount if you are a Veteran. Not sure of the exact amount, but the wife thinks it is 25% and your name must appear as the primary on the billing.
