Smile Watching The Long Long Trailer

We are right now, prior to purchasing our first motorhome, watching the Lucy and Desi The Long Long Trailer! Many LOLs!!! Wish the inside of ours could be nice and bright and vintage in decor but modern in convenience!

We ain't "FULL" of rocks yet !, but being full timers, we DO have a few special memento rocks here and there. My wife keeps hiding em in little nooks and crannys.....go figure!!

I read someplace that during the filming of that movie, the Mercury that they started out towing with could not pull the trailer over some of the mountain passes. They had to substitute a similar-colored Lincoln for those scenes.

I love that movie!

I just saw it again recently- probably for the first time since I myself started towing. I s'pose that's why I noticed something interesting:

A few shots briefly show some sort of "helper wheel" between the trailer and the car...no surprise there, since the tongue weight on that puppy must be in the four figures!
