The following link is to the obituary in the local papers:

As a funny, she said she did not want her age posted. We did a work-around as you will see. Just do the math.

Ruth Miner

Thanks again for all of your kind words.

Did not know your last name. I knew of a Wayne Miner in my field in the MC (257x - now 26xx). You wouldn't be that Miner would you?

Also, looks like I live about 15 miles from a number of your family in Stafford, VA. I'm in Woodbridge.

Again, my condolenses and prayers to you and your family. Cherish the memorys and she will live on.

Semper Fi

Bob

Sent you a reply to your jarhead account.

Will have to drop in on your son. Am on Quantico frequently on business.

PS - To the group, turns out Wayne and I were together in the same occupation specialty (cryptology/SIGINT/ELINT) going back over 40 years. Very small field back then, probably less than a 1000 people. Who'd a thunk..............

Wayne, our thoughts and prayers go to you and yours during this trying time. There is a special place in heaven for mothers. I'm sure she there.

May God bless Wayne and his family and see then thru this hard time they are facing.........
Worth a split lip... The family is in our thoughts.

Life goes on.

All of the services are over, and the tears have subsided. There is a teared eye, once in a while now, in celebration of life.

Thank you all so very much for your kind words and prayers.

One final thought Wayne. I want you to hold to the good times. Hold to the times when you and she laughed together. The fun times like Christmas and birthdays, vacations and the host of memories you now have. Please remember this. There will be times and ''things'' that will bring back a rush of memories like an ocean wave slamming the shore that will make you sad or happy or both. Been there, done that. Just work thru them my brother and hold to the good memories.

God bless you and your family..........
