What happened to the other dollar of the original $30?
At $25 divided by 3 each man should have paid $8.33 and have gotten back $1.67 each. (rounded off)

They only got $1 back so 3 x .67 = $2.00 which the bell boy kept.

If 5 people send an email to 5 people, who send it to 5 people, how many iterations will it take to exceed the population of the Earth?

I think I have received some of those.

In just a matter of a few minutes , reading this thread, and the thread killer, I have managed to destroy 1,267,997 brain cells. Im still trying to digest the motel that cost 30 bucks but, ended up costing , awww who knows.

Wanna use the brain?

If the govt says unemployment pay brings in 1.67 for each dollar expended, then why do people even think about working. Why not just everyone draw unemployment and pay the natl debt off quickly? (please no political comments are necessary, this is a brain teaser)(I have enough warnings already)

If you accept science and believe in some form of evolution, and mankind evolved from the primate world, what happened along the way to the present day apes and chimps? Did they take birth control of some kind way back there?

Conundrum

Okay, this is a serious subject. We have all heard a long freight train starting to move from a stop. We hear a clank as the space is taken up between each car.Clank, clank, clank down the line of cars. There is maybe one fourth inch of looseness between each coupling (just a guess).
Two weeks ago, I was camped beside the Columbia River at Rufus ,Oregon. There are railroad tracks on each side of the river, and many long trains pass daily.I counted some trains with 125 cars and an engine at the front and back of this long string of cars. So,when there is an engine at the front pulling;and one at the back pushing;what has happened to all the space between all these cars? 125 cars x one fourth inch equals about 31 inches of looseness!

It goes down the same Black Hole that swallows every other sock in the washing machine.
