We will never forget!

Please join me in remembering the people that lost their lives in the terrorist attack on 9-11-2001.

Yes, the date sort of popped out at me today too and I thought.."mmm, Don't really hear much about that terrible time anymore".

I do think it's a good thing to remember what happened but try and continue to look forward positively as possible.

God bless those that lost their lives and the families that have had to deal with this terrible event.

Sort of sits in my head like the assassination of President Kennedy. I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing and my thoughts.

We live very close to Shanksville, PA and on that fateful day I was the chairman of the board on the Red Cross. We were first on scene of the crash and spent several weeks there planning memorials and caring for the families and the recovery team. I will never forget the sights, sounds and smells....they haunt me.
