May is generally a pretty good month for Texas weather. I'm in the Houston area. Temps generally mid 80's and some rain. April was very wet and we should see a much drier month in May. But in the South with the moisture from the Gulf combined with the Texas warm air you never know when the next thunderstom/shower will happen. Keep your rain gear handy.
