Yup, that white stuff has been coming down for several hours, again. Looks like about 2" so far with a 33°F temperature. East wind off the lake so we could get some lake effect snow. Trees now have that white fuzzy look. The driveway and sidewalk are white again. Yesterday it was partly sunny and 50°F. Don't get me wrong, we need the moisture as the big lake dropped 2"+ last month whereas it only drops maybe an inch. But, shucks, we've had snow on the ground since November and get'n tired of it.

That's funny, we were also full timing in 2004-5. But the wife wanted to be near the grandkids (they live in Lakewood). So we have a sticks & bricks in the woods in Rice Lake township about 5 miles from the grandkids. Plus we got another 3-4" of wet snow this morning. 33°F again this morning.

Last spring it was certainly warmer and the ice was off the local lakes by the end of April. Ain't going to happen this year.

Hang in there! But more coming your way. At least we don't have to have flood insurance as we live on a ridge. Everyone around here is sick of the white stuff.

It was 83 yesterday in Bastrop, TX. This morning we got some rain, then the sky went black, the wind switched out of the north and the temps fell to the 60s...Cold front!

Cool front hit Texas City today. It dropped from in the high 70's down to 60. Feels like one more individual day of spring.
