Thankfully it was a relatively dry snowfall, at least here in Chicago. Not like the "heart attack snow" we often get.
I live in the western 'burbs and we were able to get our place cleared out in about 3 1/2 hours, once I fixed my snowblower. I'd rather get 20" of this stuff than 1/4" of ice any day. I felt bad for the folks down south that had to deal with that.

Was nice here yesterday as well, snow level went way down with more if not all of it gone this week with temps above freezing. But the weather man reminded us that we average 18 inches of snow yet for the next couple of months. For the most part any snow we get now is a here today gone tomorrow type of thing. I see spring at the end of the tunnel.
