Currently: The Founders' Second Amendment, by Stephen Halbrook.

Recently: read through the entire 20 novel Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian, for about the fourth time. Learn something new in every reading.

A while back: Masters of the Air; 8th AF, WW-II. On the one hand- yet another 8th AF book; on the other hand, this one also discusses the evolution of the concept of large scale strategic bombing, and the unique factors that placed this war on that developmental timeline.

I always have a couple books going - love to read!

Finished UNBROKEN (Laura Hillenbrand) and became instantly disappointed with the movie. The book is sooooo much better (and more historically accurate).

Now in the final chapter of SIMPLIFY (Bill Hybels) which is such a great book for this time in my life. Youngsters would not understand it, I don't think. It's a book for old farts.

Also reading THE WISDOM OF WOODEN (Coach John Wooden) which is a quick read - I will finish it today. His ramblings are timeless. He would be a great mentor.

Next on the nightstand is a re-read of CAPTURED BY GRACE (David Jeremiah) as we prepare to join in part-time ministry when we go FT this Fall.
