Just for the heck of it I totaled the percentages of vehicle manufacturer origins reported here @7:35am eastern time on May 30, 2011.


'other' was 17.2% which does include some of each category (domestic and foreign) I presume.

03 chevy cavalier, would like to have another X 11 citation. 316,000 when the junk man took it. Loved it, had a 4 speed and got 27 mpg on the road.

Have 2 jeeps , 79 CJ7 and 2007 Jeep Commander . Both used as Toads.
2007 Allegro 34wa .WH w20 8.1 6speed. Bow tie powered 79 CJ7 or a 2014 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon Toad.

Some time ago (1970's) the State of Washington decided that they would only buy American built vehicles. Passed a law mandating that. We could no longer get Dodge vans, but could get Toyota pickups. That lasted two years and they repealed the law.
