Thumbs up Semi-Retired

Hi all, I worked as a FireFighter / Paramedic for 27yrs. During that time, as most firefighters do, I worked a second job on my off days. I was a phelbotomist / mobile supervisor for 8 yrs, after which I worked in a local emergency room as a paramedic for 11 yrs and after I retired from the F.D and took a position as a unit clerk in the ER for almost 4 yrs and had enough of that stress. I now work in the aviation industry mfg electrical connectors for commercial aircraft and ground support parts. I hope to do this just for a couple more years and then fully retire.

Click user cp, then on the left side is a link called edit avatar. Then you enter the pic of your choice. You'll probably have to play with the size a bit, it's limited to 150 or so pixels.

I install/repair medical imaging equipment. 19 yrs with GE, the last 12 with Toshiba (because GE wouldn't transfer me). Right now, I do X-ray, CT and MRI. My wife is currently the team leader for the Radiology transcribers in the St Francis Hospital, Indpls. system. The problem with our jobs is we don't seem to have much time to use the 5th wheel.

17 years in the auto/truck industry as a tradesperson. 28 years climbing the ladder in one of Ontario's major electrical utility. Retiring from a trades management position July 31st 09, last day working for the man!

Then I will do what I want to do, when I want to do it, which includes working for the woman to minimize the Honey-do list!

Married to my dear wife for 34 years and counting.

Looking forward to many RV trips and adventures.
