What do you call it?

What do you call it when a line of people pass boxes from one place to another?

We used an old firehouse term and called it a "bucket brigade" when I was growing up.

Buckets or boxes I call it a bucket brigade.

I was at Henry Ford/Greenfield Village many moons ago for the annual Fireman's week, they set up two bucket brigades to fight a "fire" (actually you had to toss enough water on a small roof to fill a bucket on a scale and trip the YOU WIN flag.

My Team Won!!!!.

Done that kind of thing with boxes and such many times.
