I tuned in tonight to check on what's new with the RV world and learn something...but then I see from the big banners placed throughout the web site that the insurance lobbyists have hijacked the place and decided I need to call my congressman instead-what a disappointment! I guess I didn't expect to see the operators of this site politicize it like this and stoop this low for a few bucks in ad money. Up until now I always appreciated the strong link to RVing and considered this the only site to go to for it...guess I was all wrong about what it really pertained to.

BTW I will call my congressman again tomorrow (thanks for the reminder website owners) and tell him to vote for the health care bill. You see I consider myself very fortunate to have a "Cadillac" health insurance policy for my wife and I until I turn 65 (in 3 years) - thanks to my former employer. Then it's into that terrible government run medicare/medicaid (even some that are in it don't think it's a government plan) but of course it is. But along the way I don't mind seeing little kids that are poor be able to get help too when they're sick; or people not have to worry about losing their house to pay a health care bill-you know all those "others" that may not have money for a motorhome/RV and a house like I do. In fact I remember very well my family not being able take my brother and I to the doctor because that $20 was needed for other "necessities" at the time-food maybe? That shouldn't be happening in todays America.

I think I've said enough...time to go elsewhere for my RV information sans slanted politics and the real "health care arrogance" displayed here.

I'm sorry you saw ads that made you feel this way here. I wanted to let you know that that we don't really control ads served by google. They are put up based on your location or maybe what site you were viewing before you came to iRV2, but we don't order those ads. It is often the case that we all see different ads, infact during the last election we had reports of ads from both sides of the aisle.

We can request to have offensive ads blocked. So - next time you see them if you can make a note of the URL of the ad, we can look into this option.

mygrayhound -- You are wrong about this site and VERY wrong about the so called Obama health care bill -- Are you in favor of all the backroom deals being made to gather enough votes to cram this monstrosity down our throats ? - Are you in favor of cutting 1/2 trillion dollars out of Medicare payments to the insurance companies running Medicare Advantage plans that return up to 100% of the Part B coverage costs to it's customers ? -- BTW -- Seniors got no increase in their social security checks this year, but the same Democratic congress that voted themselves a raise this year are now poised to pass this health care boondoggle while EXEMPTING themselves from having to participate in it !! -- Are you in favor of paying for the murder of untold numbers of innocent lives through abortion ? How about adding health care for millions on illegal aliens already receiving benefits they don't deserve ? --- Are you really in favor of turning over 1/6 of our economy to the federal government ?? -- The same group of professional politicians that has bankrupted our country ? Yes, you go ahead and call your congressman and support his yes vote even though 73% of the population is against passage -- God help us and free us from the control of the likes of Obama - Pellosi - Reid - Frank -Dodd - and the rest of the left wing liberals !!!
