As for jobs going overseas, it just seems to me that business is business and if it gets too expensive for them to do business in one place... they'll go somewhere else... and we as shareholders would demand nothing less.
A sad state of affairs... but a good discussion.
Then we should make too expensive for them to take jobs somewhere else. Our treatment of foreign trade needs a revamping. China eats our lunch by their unfair trade practices and subsidies. And they hold so much of our debt we're afraid to act. Guess what they can't foreclose on us, if they drive the value of the dollar down they lose. We're their biggest customer they need us. Stop building plants over there so they can steal our technology. They buy planes from Boeing then forces them to build them over there, how does this balance trade? Are leaders Political and Business need to grow a pair and put their collective foot down.
