Way back when I was a NROTC student doing summer camp on board a ship, a sailor warned me about placing my hand in front of a radar dish because it would cook. I never thought a thing about the possibilities, but somebody did

That little invention ranks right up there as far as saving millions of single guys from abject starvation, and making coffee and ramen noodles the staple of our pitiful lives

Once I captured my bride (and she's the best chefette ever), my attention turned to the next-best inventions of my lifetime, internet games and Craigslist
