With all the RV'ers out there burning gas or diesel, plus the manufacturers, got together and formed a buying group. With as many folks out there enjoying the RV life the numbers might be attractive to one of the major oil companies to secure our business and provide discounts on our purchases. Just a thought, what do you think?

All the oil companies is looking for is BIGGER profits so that the over priced executives can make more. They are not interested in helping the little guy.

Buy one share of stock and you will have a voice in executive pay. The BoD sets that. But-The BoD is responsible to the stockholder to maximize the profits.

Thank God they do make lots of profit.

One question. Can you tell me the difference between profit and profit margin ? I think it was Exon Mobil that just released the figures on what percentage of their profit comes from the sale of fuel. It is 3 cents of every dollar, the government makes more then that ...

Ha-they would probably give you a card for 50.00/yr and you get .01cent off each gallon pumped. What a deal . They would be guaranteed that your card is used at their pumps. Some deal eh?

I don't think the RVing world has the clout, or desire but just think what the trucking industry with backing of the Teamsters could do.
