It was 1957, a friend and I went to a double feature. "I was a Teen Age Werewolf" with Micheal Landon and "Invasion of the Saucermen" with Frank Gorshin.
These literally sacred the fool outta this 10 year old boy at the time. Missed many hours of sleep over these.

The "Scariest Movie" that I have ever seen was Forbidden Planet. This movie was made in 1956 and I probably saw it on B&W TV sometime around 1959-1960. It scarred the ever living daylights out of me! Comon' Leslie Nielson scary?

After this is was full speed ahead for Star Trek, Star Wars and every other scifi space movie ever made.
