Well, to be honest I chose Rookie 5er because I was in a hurry. I wanted to register and ask a bunch of questions, and I just couldn't think of something that described me better at the time! While my husband and I still consider ourselves rookies (we've only been out camping this year about 6 times), we are already on our second fifth wheel and have learned a lot (both from this forum and its great people, and from our experience). Now that we have an rv we'll surely keep for a while, I wonder if we should change our screen name. Calling ourselves rookies seems to invalidate any advice we would give to others.

Great thread!
Annette

Love the looney tunes cartoons, especially the big red furry monster with sneakers. The monsters name is "Gossamer", change one letter to avoid copyright infringements, etc., and there you have it.

I am a two tour Vietnam veteran. The first tour started in October 1965.

I was interviewed on television by CNN's Computer Connection and the show was about veterans connecting up on the Internet. The interviewer tagged me with the term "CyberVet"

So : CyberVet65

I am just carrying my company name and nick name over to the lifestyle we love so much. We plan to someday sell our business and move my trade into the the RV industry and so why not keep a catchy handle?
I have not put my web site on my signature as I thought it too much like marketing but for those that might want to know a little more about us here www.4applianceRepair.com

Lamkid

Well, our last name is Lampson.
Got a computer, years ago.
Had two teen girls.
We got aol, they needed a screen name.
They grew up, moved on out.
Momma took over screen name,
due to having it around all
those years, easy to remember.
Also go by 2DogGypsies.
Because, we have two dogs, and
we ARE GYPSIES AT HEART!!!
