98 in Delta, Colorado today. I think that is a new record. Our local ham club has been warned to be ready to go out and watch local bridges for our sheriff. Run off is expected to get heavy. Grand Mesa had about 600% of normal snow pack. Day before the first day of summer we had a winter storm warning for the Mesa. Just crazy!

Today was perfect, maybe 80 degrees, nice breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Low 60s tonight, perfect for sleeping. Lived my whole life in Florida, I love New York weather, even in winter.

Amory Ms, 98 degrees and humid as heck. I have seen 117 in Nevada before and it doesn't hold a light to this humidity, it just makes you sick, literally . It's usually not like this until august but we have had this for about a month now. I would agree with the global warming thing but we had more snow this past winter than the last 20 years combined. Go figure! We have some German equipment where I work that gets serviced once a year, it's funny but a little sadistic to schedule this service in august. The techs show up in there nice company overalls, usually heavy cotton and long sleeves, the last guy spent 3 days in his boxer shorts and a muscle t. The women loved it but he didn't care!
