Partly cloudy this morning here in Traverse City, MI. Storms expected before noon then clearing for the weekend with highs in the 80's. Hope the weather straightens out real soon the Cherry Festival begins in an hour and fifteen minutes and we have two air shows scheduled, one for today and one tomorrow and week full of fun entertainment.

Looks like a good time to revive this thread. We've been here in Bar Harbor since June 26. the weather has been great, today the heat that has enveloped the rest of the country arrived went out to walk Zeus and the Sun almost melted me. We've been spending the summer in Maine for 5 years, this is the worst heat ever.

Hate to tell you all the forecast here in Anacortes WA. 64 degrees today, low 70's for the weekend. Kinda feel guilty for being here, but not really!

Saint Clair (Twp), Michigan.. In-accuweather says 99 yesterday for the high but if you read the printing on the wall (The remote reading digital thermomemter display) it showed 106 and change.. The sensor is hooked to the propane line, in the propane compartment, behind 2 inches of Styrofoam insulation and open on the bottom to air so I don't think the sun is overly heating the sensor. The other sensor (in a different vented area) also was over 100. AND The bedroom air conditioner blower motor siezed up (Bearing failure, long story but the cause has been cured) This morning before it got too sunny I played musical blowers and now it's cool shere I'm sitting (Well 78, better than 90 yesterday in this room) Monday I get it fixed and Tuesday re-installed.
