Right now, it is golfing, although I have flown in my own airplanes, and models, and have ridden motorcycles since high school.

For now with cabin fever peaking I look forward to Racing in Florida beginning in February.
A great variety of Hobbies ( Favorite Pastimes) on here.
So what do you haul in those trailers (other hobbies) ?
Hey Chuck, pic's of some of the stuff we put in the 24' trailer can be seen here. Don't really do car shows, more cruise ins and we enjoy taking one of the cars on MH trips in scenic locales with good weather.

Like you, I am an ol' "Stupid" Gas racer... (I'm sure you've heard that term used before) Chased NHRA points from '84 till '02, then raced a Texas based heads up series from '03-2011. Still own the 'Vette & 'Bird in the pics below but sold the Cavalier a couple of months ago. Race cars go in the 28' stacker now that I sold the big rig in the background of the Vette pic.

Since we have so many drag racers here and on this tread I wanted to share a past...pastime I had. Spent about 10 years as fly-in help. I'm the one on the far left in the pic of a pic standing next to Lanny. 20 years ago and seems like yesterday!

Great job by the team in '93! Eddie & Ercie have always been a class act; from his motorcycle days, to the TF Hydro boat, and finally to NHRA Top Fuel. His team and crew always had as much fun as anyone on the tour.

All NHRA racers, past & present, can appreciate the hard work, dedication, and commitment it takes to possess an Oscar, or as they're called today, a Wally. As I sit here watching the college bowl game recap show my small collection of "little men" are nearby.

Very cool picture !!!

I always liked Eddy Hill. He was a heck of a drag boat racer as well. You were living the dream 20 years ago my friend.

Won my first NHRA points race in '83, last one in 2002. Raced a Texas based series from '03 to 2011. Trying to decide if I've had enough

The attached pic is from the 1984 NHRA race at Houston International Dragway on I-45 near Dickinson... it's a subdivision now I'm on the right, my buddy/crew chief on the left. Those were great times to be racing!
