We camp all the time without TV (off course we're off roaders so we have that to do to take up some time), in fact we've never even use the TV except to watch DVD's and thats only while we eat dinner, then it off to enjoy the outdoors. But then again we haven't had TV at home for 4 years.

Hope your trips turns out more amazing than you had imagined.

It's our first time camping since getting home in April from our Arizona winter trip. Just a busy summer, too much going on to enjoy our rig.

Got half way here, DH realizes he forgot to put the tv back into the rv. No problem, we stop at Wallie World, buy a new and of course bigger tv that has a built in DVD player. Get to the campground he goes to set up the Direct TV stuff and realizes he also forgot to pack the remote for Direct TV. He's unable to complete the hookup without the remote. It's nearly a three hour drive back home, we'll just not have TV this weekend.

Thankful we have a ton of DVDs to watch, but for our listening pleasure (besides the radio), the only CD we have onboard is one about Civil War songs. I had taken all CDs out a few weeks ago to match them up to their respectful cases, something I do once a year. And of course, hadn't put any back in the rv.
Guess I better tell the DW to add TV to her checklist.

Grew up after leaving home for The Army with Rock,,, Journey, Star Ship,Kansas, Boston,, etc,,, still love them,, but now I listen to classic country,,, it seems to keep me a little calmer,, sometimes.... then it reminds me of the bar days,,, a lot of wasted time,, but part of life...

I was somewhere from 4-9 in that time period, in Long Beach / Lakewood but it was all about KNAC, although I did listen to a lot of K-earth 101 thanks to my parents (and I know pretty much all the oldies!).

Right this minute I'm listening to Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon." Just finished the Beatles' "Abbey Road," and before that my favorite Pink Floyd, "Animals."

Just spent a beautiful desert afternoon outside at the LaQuinta Blues and Brews festival......
So, keeping in the spirit set my Pandora "shuffle" to all my assorted blues stations.
Etta James just came on singing "at last"
