Classic Rock. Joe Walsh, The Eagles, Doobies, with some Jackson Browne thrown in for good measure.
Reminds me of one of my ten most embarrassing moments though.
Years ago I decided to ride my motorcycle from home in Northern California to the Phoenix area for an annual golf outing with the boys. My clubs flew of course.
My bike was a full dress Goldwing with stereo so I had made tapes (told you it was years ago) of my favorites for the long solo ride. Most of the music was pretty rocky stuff but I had made one change of pace tape to give my ears a break every now and then.
Coming through the desert east of the Sierras hundreds of rugged looking guys on Harleys were passing me going the other way to a big get together somewhere in Nevada. Naturally they looked at the guy on a Honda with a degree of disdain.
I came across a little country store/gas station in the middle of nowhere and decided to pop in for fuel at the last minute. I pulled off the road and around the building to find about 50 Harleys and their riders taking a break at the side of the store... while I pulled in through the middle of them on my Honda... wearing a tank top from Disneyland... and Art Garfunkel singing the theme from the Goodbye Girl... at about 90db.
I nearly broke three fingers trying to rip that tape out of the player.
