Counted last night I have 432 more work days till retirement. An earlier post said:

After working in a high stress working environment for 36 1/2 years, my company called and said tomorrow's your last day of work. They essentially retired everyone in the company over 55 years of age in 3 waves. Thank you, as I never intended to work any longer anyway.
Sure wish they would do that to me....I would be a cheap "buy out" Just give me my 2 years of pension credits I'm short and you will never hear from me again...

I have never missed anything about work. I did it, had a blast, and enjoyed it and when it was time for a different phase of my life I jumped into the next phase.

I have never missed anything about college. I did it, had a blast, and enjoyed it and when it was time for a different phase of my life I jumped into the next phase.

I have never missed anything about high school. I did it, had a blast, and enjoyed it and when it was time for a different phase of my life I jumped into the next phase.

I could repeat that for every phase change in my life, but you get the idea. Life is a series of phases and I never miss an old phase when going on to a new one. Each one is exciting with never a dull moment or boredom. Always forward looking.
