Sounds like a great route. I once thought there were too many hats if ya had two. For now I will try to make room. Lol.

So I actually wore out, before I grew out of my first Grand Teton T-shirt. I lead a sort of sheltered life where T-shirts were involved. So when we went full time and discovered Walmart for shopping - I stocked up on tons of em at $4 - $5 each. Who knew?

Annie is picking up magnets apparently. No place for em except the toaster.

In April we picked about $8,400 in hail damage. That was nice.

We do seem to enjoy the gift shops. Often it's just to gawk and the occasional small Commerative. Still settling in to living - vs vacationing. Digital pictures - lots of em.

It's funny that you would mention the old decals that used to be plastered on the sides of RVs in the sixties and seventies ... I found a large, faded envelope stuffed full of old decals while cleaning out a file cabinet on Saturday. I wonder what happened to that fad? I guess it went the way of the WALL DRUG bumper sticker, huh?

Here are some things we have picked up on-the-road. The first picture is "Key Largo," our pink flamingo mascot who always seems to find itself in the campground picture [somehow]. The second picture is evidence of our addiction to refrigerator magnets. This is the fridge in the RV. The one in the S&B is already full. Sad, huh?

The way we figure it, we can only visit 28 more places before we have to either, a) stop traveling, or, b) buy another fridge!

An Alaska flag, a Canada flag and an Acadia hat I have worn out. I need to go back to Maine for another hat and a flag. Also, a dish towel from Alaska. Oh, an I survived the Alcan Hwy shot glass.

Ken, my family started hitting national parks in the late 1960s. I bought those old-style decals. Since we camped in a tent (we did rent a travel trailer to go to Mesa Verde National Park), there was no place to put the decals. So, I "plastered" them on my bedroom window. They included Lassen, Crater Lake, Mesa Verde, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon and other places.

I seem to collect recites from various restaurants, shopping malls and a wide variety of other shops!

Cheap old books from antique shops and flea markets. Also books about local history. Not to decorate with, but to read. I need to have a book sale...

We got this book the other day. Don't have room for too many books so mostly Kindle books - but this seemed (and is) worthy of its place and weight.

Got a # 3 Dale Earnhardt Plate on the front of my MH years ago. It was the same day that Rick Hendrick announced that Jr. would be driving #88. I get a lot of thumbs up with that #3 plate !

We are minimalists and prefer our RV to look neat at all times. Understand that we are the exception. We get something out and put it away as soon as we are done with it. Makes full time living much easier.

My DW likes to collect survey benchmarks for the places we visit (Death Valley, Pikes Peak, etc.). I will glue onto a magnet & stick them on the fridge.

Can't believe they leave those things laying out there cluttering up the landscape!
