70 + or - 5 on interstates, otherwise whatever the limit is or, what I feel is safe. Generally "what I feel is safe" is usually under the limit, but sometimes 5 over. This is especially true on 140 through NV (limit 70) and OR (limit 55). We usually travel it at least once a year on our way from OR to WV and back.

I usually try to "make hay while the sun shines".

On Interstates, I'll set the cruise control at 63 and just sit in the right lane. I'm retired and I am in no hurry.

When I did my trip from OH to OR in '14 in my Class-C MH I set my cruse at 60 -62. I believe I passed one Travel trailer (not counting the three on side changing tires). I have video of a few of the dozen that flew by me at over 70.
The tires on the trailers were probably all ST type which means 65 mph MAX. So every one was doing damage to their tires.

There were a few Class-A MH doing over 70 so they were bumping up against the 75mph MAX for truck tires in RV use. If you read the databooks from most tire companies they show 75 mph max for the truck tires.

Interesting to see how many owners complain about tire failures but are not willing to accept that their driving speed is a big contributor to the short tire life.

cruise speed

I set my cruise based geographic area I am traveling in. For example, if I am out west going thru mountains, I will run 60 to 65. Eastern terrain is generally flatter, so I will run 70 to 75.

65 to 67 on the interstate. In parking lots I try and keep it under 45.
