What speed do you usually go?

Anonymous poll to gauge what speed folks generally strive to cruise at. This is while driving some RV setup, not a car, pickup, etc.

Wished I had thought of "speed limit" as a poll option.

Let's just say if the limit was 80 in all cases, what speed would you travel at?

On cruise control generally 2-3 miles/hour below speed limit. This allows vehicles doing limit+ to pass quickly, safely and keeps ample spacing in front of my vehicle. If I'm not on cruise control I generally go with the flow of right hand lane traffic.

62-65. On rare occasions higher. This is a nice comfortable speed for me and I do my best not to block traffic for others.

NOTE - I can do MACH 2 anytime I want, its nice to drive slow... :-)

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

Keep in mind that the speed limit here in Canada is 100 kph which is just over 60 mph. That is why I prefer 55 to 60 mph. I prefer to go just below the speed limit and stay in the right hand lane. This way I am not having to change lanes all the time, and can travell with the cruise control on without having to keep taking it off due to traffic. If I was somewhere where the speed limit was 75 mph, I would probably take it up to the 60 to 65 area. Faster than that I would not feel comfortable. I like travelling under 60 really. I just feels right to me.

66 mph just feels the best for my truck's torque range and 5er's tires.
