What to do?

Choices
First, 3 night 4 day FREE stay at a Nice RV resort (90 minute sales pitch)

Second, Back to the 50ties 3 day car show including showing my car.

What would you take?
Tim

Unless the Resort includes Free Golf, I'd take the Car Show every time.

Car show! More fun and no annoying sales pitch.

Are you interested in buying something in the RV Resort? If not....,why would you go to a 90 min sales presentation?

Because the sales pitch is a prerequisite to get the 3d4n stay at the resort.

Show your car. You still get to go RVing and maybe win a prize.

You probably don't have any little kids to help hasten the untimely end of the sales pitch by conveniently barfing all over do you....
( we used to vacation cheap at timeshares that way with 4 little ones... one was sure to have had too much ice cream or something and perform marvelously within a half hour or so of beginning of the required presentation...LOL!)

If I had to choose I would take the RV resort.
(90% of the old cars people show I wasn't interested in seeing when they were new)!

A 90 minute presentation usually turns into an all day commitment as they will throw all types of sales people at you to squeeze you into buying something. They will line up in the next room waiting to take their turn at you until you say yes.

I went to one in Cancun and one in Neuevo Vallarta with my third wife. She owns them now and I will NEVER attend another one as long as I am living on this planet.

Therefore my choice would be the car show. Or better yet I would try to find a RV show to attend.

Mel,
I have to agree with you! That's really the truth. I have no interest in that
pristine 1962 Ford Falcon....LOL

I see both sides, and understand your dilemma.
Since i'm a relative newbie to the RV lifestyle, i'm all over the RV stay. My guess its some sort of RV resort timeshare. I was big into timeshares pre-RV (ex-wife got them all, and thank God, know how you feel Dr4Film).. but to stay at a nice resort to only have to listen to some 2 or 3 hour (90 min HA) drivel...i can deal with that.

Hands down, car show. We got stuck at a time share in Las Vegas and we were lucky to leave alive. Never, Never, again

Unless you are deeply concerned all the spaces at that RV resort will be sold in that 90 minute sales pitch, the car show has to be the winner... (Let us know how you did, with photos!!)

Next time maybe it will be 3n 4d and a free dinner
