What type of music do you have on your MP3 Player?

I have some bluegrass, which is the best in my opinion, Flatt & Scruggs and some 50's and 60's rock and roll, Marmalade, Lesley Gore, The Searchers, some southern gospel the Happy Goodmans ,Doc Watson, and some classic 70's such as Journey, Foghat, Lynyrd Skynrd, I like to listen to music that has a messge and that the lyrics make sense. Sorry can't handle the rap...but to each their own, so they say.

Don't have an MP3 player -- we have Sirius XM 'everywhere' and I have Shazam on my Blackberry to grab whatever I hear and like. Love the full range of music, excluding Rap, Reggie (sp?) and chamber music. Tend toward hits of the '50s-'90s

Roy Clark, Dave Matthews, Chet Atkins, Commander Cody, Ossy, Niel Young, James Gang, The Outlaws, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert, CCR, BTO, Alice Cooper.

The list goes on. BTW, Pandora has become my new best friend.

I use to think I could listen to anything until the kids (15 and 19 YO) plugged in their rap. No can do! I do bear with it sometimes just to know what they are hearing.

Jukebox Oldies is our home entertainment system channel of choice. On the road we carry a very eclectic collection of almost everything. Heck there's even some C & W that my DW really likes.

I am thinking of getting a satellite system for on the road but wonder about reception under the great tin roof?

Good grief, where do I begin?

Classical (Baroque is my favorite, followed by Renaissance, then Classical/Romantic periods; no opera or piano)

Folk (Irish, Scottish, English, American, Andean)

Bluegrass and Appalachian

Some New Age (the mild stuff, no whale calls)

Celtic New Age

A Capella Gospel (the older stuff, not the modern)

Some 50s and 60s Rock

'40s Style Big Band Music

Some of a variety of other styles.

No Rap, Heavy Metal, etc.

I don't have (or want) an MP3 player. In my present truck, I load up the 6 CD player with MP3 discs. At home, I play MP3s from my computer (I've ripped most of my CDs to MP3 and have downloaded several MP3s).

I LOVE Minstrels of Mayhem (ahem!)! I was fortunate to see them live at the Northern Renaissance Festival when it was in Vacaville, CA 10-15 years ago. Pity they had to break up!

I'm easy... anything and everything except RAP. I have hundreds of oldies (50's, 60's) on my GPS and it' plugs into my speaker system in the motorhome.
