We called them Super Chickens when I was in high school in the 80s...

I remembered showing my dad the local car sale paper with a 70 hemi cuda for $4,000. Still can hear him saying there aint no 70 Plymouth in the world worth $4,000 or ever going to be... Sadly dad would be very mistaken!

Sigh!

Some very nice and expensive taste you guys and gals have.

My dream car still remains the 1998 Chevy Impala guarded by my favorite 3 types of dogs.

But I bet you didn't learn your lesson and still remarried.

Marriage is not a word man, it is a sentence, a life one.

No, I grew up. The first one I was young and stupid. The second, 20+ years and he buys me Corvettes .

At least you grew up, I just turned 40 and I'm still wondering what I want to be if I ever grow up.

You guys are making me weep with those pictures of great cars. I think my favorite car was a beater 65 F-85 coupe a previous owner had hopped up with a 4bbl and dual exhaust. That car was FAST. I wish I had it to restore. As far as a dream car, I go with an original Cobra. Trouble is, I still have too much kid in me to be trusted with it.

Wink Dreamcar

I 'had' over 40 cars in my life, but a PORSCHE 911 (aircooled) is still the one, that should be in a trailer behind our MH heading south.

Didn't think about this at first, as it is one that I did have in the garage. Around 1962 while working at Astronautics in SD I bought a 1957 Turquoise Impala Convertable off a Used Car Lot on El Cajon Blvd. Have heard prices of upward of 75K in the past. Talk about one that got away...Wheeeew

My one and only if I could would be a 62 Corvette, and I still have time yet to get one! Had my first ride in one when I was a kid and that started my car adventures but never owned that one! For now I'm enjoying my 86.
A real dream car would be the James Bond DB5 or a Ford GT40,,,Gotta love'em!

Maybe someday I'll hit the Lottery!

HammerDown,,, A friend of mine in high school had a red Coronet 500 with the Wedge Hemi in it. That was quite a ride! Traded it in for a 68 Charger
