1962 Buick Special with the BIG 215 CI aluminum block V-8 they made for a few years and a two speed slush o matic. Did 90 mph in either low or high, didn't matter.

They didn't have a photo anything like my Heinkel bubble-car. It was a three-wheeler, 2 in front, one in back. The front was the entry door and the steering column was hinged to go with it. There was a 2-place bench seat. The engine was a 175cc 4-stroke single cylinder, mounted in back and driving the rear wheel.

Unfortunately, I never bothered to take a picture while I owned it. Later in 1965, I was riding motorcycles again for a while, then an Austin A-40 sedan. First US car was a '64 Falcon wagon, in Seattle in '68.

My Daddy's new 1966 F100 pickup with 240" six and three on the tree and a camper on the back. I first learned how to drive in Mama's Galaxy 500 (don't remember the year of the car) since it had a slush pump instead of a stick.

I was itching to drive 49 1/2 years ago. Didn't get my licence till Oct. then had to share a 56 Olds 88 with my older sis.
