Do you think there will ever become a time when we are told that if we want to drive our rigs, we will have to pay a usage tax? Something like the truckers pay, I think they call it a road tax?

You're already paying it in every gallon of fuel you buy - the truckers just pay it differently...

With the current idiots we have in DC it most likely will happen. They need money. Too stupid to stop spending.

Yep! You pay by the Gal you buy.

Truckers keep track of miles driven in each state. As they may pass through a couple or so states before needing fuel. And those that no fuel is bought in, want their road tax also.
