24 years in Property Management (multi-family), quit that because I wanted a life. Went back to school, now working as an IT support engineer at a school for gifted kids. I'm trying to figure out whether I have enough to retire, sometimes I think I should just do it and to heck with it. The biggest concern is health insurance coverage between now and medicare. I could go on DW's coverage but what happens if she gets downsized or wants to retire? These are issues I am still trying to resolve.
Would like to try work camping or volunteer campground host at least once.

My wife and I were in high tech for 30+ years and 7 years ago started a business designing tools for the construction trades. They are contract manufactured and we use two contract warehouses to process the orders from our website, dealers, and Amazon. We wanted a business with no employees and one we could operate from anywhere in the world we could get a good internet connection.

We make a lot less than before but more than enough to cover living and travel expenses and we can go anywhere at anytime for as long as we want. Our small RV rig is a mobile office for our business.

I'm a retired USAF Navigator and flew in C-141s and T-43s. Since my eyes were never great, I couldn't go the AF Pilot route, so I spent a lot of time in small airplanes on the side. I worked my way up to a civilian instrument flight instructor with 1000 hours teaching people the joy of flying. This was probably the most rewarding fun I've ever had. Once I retired from the AF, I transformed myself into the IT industry with a specialty in Cisco products. Now, I've been forced into management and it's still interesting. Retiring shortly, 1-2 years, because the last thing I want to do is die in the halter. Besides, the DW is allowing me to retire. We're going to keep the sticks and bricks, but we do plan to chase the flip flop barometer.

Being retired as a day job is my goal!
Id like to retire early and fulltime rv with my wife. Although, her goals are a bit different we've come to a middle ground. She wants to live in Paris....... (My response: Really??)

We will travel and fulltime RV but pick up random flights and spend time in Europe and other countries to tour. Now I just need more money

EnolaEagle, just the person I needed to ask.... what is the name of the vinyl, fiberglass or some kind of plastic sheeting used for shower surrounds? I know you can get it in unformed sheets but I can't find it anywhere.
