We bring our own games - Dominion is our current favorite, in all its variations. We also play other card-based & board games (like Munchkin and Ticket to Ride), as well as Cribbage or Rummy or backgammon.

Friends of ours play organized sports like softball. They tell us they can be real competitive. We do play quite a bit of ladder golf at the camp site.

No games.

Just sitting at the river RV park, waters edge, near my MH, reading and talking to other campers.

And trying not to complain about what I don't have but being thankful for what I do have.

We like to camp where there is good hiking, nature viewing, and history and we spend a good deal of time doing that when camping. When we are in camp we tend to enjoy relaxing and cooking the most, but we do play some games.

Typically they are either board games like monopoly or card games. We tried bean bag tossing (inexplicably referred to as cornhole these days) but didn't find it that appealing. Bocce is fun though, but it can be a bit challenging to find enough open ground to play in some State parks.

We travel with all kinds of games - board, card, dice, etc. We even have a bag with some that we take into bars. Yes we play games while sitting in a bar. I have some medical problems so there's only so much walking or standing I can do.

We regularly see a small group of people playing board games at our favorite local coffee shop.

Several of our favorites to play in bars are:
Shut The Box Shut the Box - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Farkle Farkle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chekov http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chekov-Dice-...-/321012686503
Actually with the same dice with Farkle we can just make up the board for Chekov to save space. Or we just put the dice and stuff in the Shut The Box game for more space saving.

DH and I play Scrabble in our rig every evening if we have no other commitment. We are very competitive with each other and have done this for years even when we were in our S&B. When we play with friends we play "Pegs and Jokers" or "Hand and Foot".

It has been years since we played Hand and Foot. Played it as often as we could with another couple in SC. We loved that game but think I forgot how to play it....like other things, need that refresher course.

Maybe if we meet on the road, we can give you that refresher course.
I had not played for years either until we started playing with some of our Sojourner RV friends. Picked it up again immediately. Love it, but I found there are a few different variations. When you play with different people have to clarify the rules they play with.
