I was at a site last week. When I asked the desk, they said you had to be near the office to connect.
So the ritual was to check email during my morning sit down.

This was Bryce Zion Camoground on hwy 89 in Utah.

Pet peeves??? A lot has been posted here but don't think I saw this listed .... children, family, other drivers and their cell phone useage while driving or camping like its part of their anatomy. Nothing like seeing a mh or someone in a car driving and texting as they are weaving all over the road. And don't even get me going about using them at the dinner table or restaurant when everyone is sitting down together. I seen many families sitting down at a restaurant and everyone was on their cells. Get over it and put it down.

It seems these days that today's "family" cannot communicate unless it's through some type of social media. There are no more family dinners where members are sharing their days activities.

Talk about the total breakdown of family unity and values.

What a tragedy!

Here is an idea I may have posted before about cell phones at dinner. When you are out with friends and sit down to the table have everyone put their phone in a pile in the middle. First one that picks theirs up also picks up the tab. Anyone that won't go along with it can sit somewhere else because obviously they don't feel the rest of you are important enough to talk to.

The "grammar cops" that will pick on folks without providing any help to the OP!
Silly, rude, and always OFF TOPIC!

You mean like their, there, and maybe the words then and than, not forgetting the complicating word of to,too, and two. If we draw attention to the op about it, they get miffed enough to take high offense to it.

It's best just to ignore it. No point in hurting someone's feelings over something so insignificant!

Anyone who resorts to labels (anything that ends with police) to discount opposing opinions.

Anyone who uses phrases like "tows good" or "tows just fine" to describe towing with overloaded vehicles.

Yep, and "Cummings" etc.
As long as the OP provides a clear message, there is NO reason EVER to offend them with a grammar correction. YEP, grammar cops are simply not helping at all.

A lot of times grammer issues are simply the incorrect "auto-correct" from tablets or cell phones, and often not even noticed until after it's posted.

I bet you're right Brad! That's a possibility I had not thought of!
