What's your "pet peeve" ?

We've all got things that irritate us, some more than others! Just thought it might be interesting to see if our personal pet peeves are the same as other's!

One that really irritates me is that some drivers insist on hugging the center line, especially when going around sharp curves! I try to hug the outside line around curves, because I know there's probably gonna be some idiot hugging the center!

That's one of mine. The other is someone in the left lane of the Interstate doing 8 to 10 mph below the posted limit.

Riding our street bike around various states we see lots of lame brains hugging the center line even on straight roads and it is very irritating to say the least. As for the slow pokes out in the fast lanes, I have no patience for them. Wish we could have a battering ram on the front of our vehicles at times doesn't it?

I tend to hug center line when there's a 1500 ft drop off next to the right.

Mine is when you are in busy traffic, and there are big rigs in multiple lanes, and then some idiot in a car with plenty of lane space, on a cell phone texting, has to ride the line leaving you very little room to avoid the guy next to you in the big rig.

"Creepers" irritate the stuffing out of me. As you approach a red light the car in front of me stops about 2 car lengths behind the car in front of him/her. Through the delay of the red light the creeper slowly moves ahead stopping periodically until they are behind the car on front of them. When the light changes they wait until the car in front of them is 2 or 3 car lengths ahead before they go with the flow.

On ramps, when I am in the right lane. Some people don't bother to look and then they see me right next to them( The shocked look on their face). like oh crap I better get moving. Or take their sweet time getting on.

The surge and brake tapper.

They don't actually hit the brakes but just enough to turn on the brake lights. Then they fall back and surge again.

And everything else mentioned above.

Sometimes I think they expect me to get out of their way.

Actually that's taught in driving classes as a safety item.

Hey Joe, another Flood Gates Post.....

One (of a few but this one is tops) of the things that bug me are the folks who poke along at And below the posted limit until they get to a Passing Lane and then all of a sudden decide it's time to fly. Then, when they get Almost to the End of the passing lane, they go back to poking along.
