Wheel bearing grease

I'm looking for wheel bearing grease or a similar thick grease that's light tan (or similar) in color.

I can no longer find the old tan color, only red, green, blue, purple, etc.

It's not for wheel bearings, as that's not it's intended use, but the color is important to me.

Inquiring minds want to know. Why is the color of the grease important?

It just looks better for it's intended use. Personal preference.

CRC Sta-Lube wheel bearing grease is amber. Available at Grainger but should be locally available. I think Castrol Wheel grease was tan...

See if NAPA's grease has the desired color.

Route 66,
Amsoil series 2000 100% synthetic High Performance Lithium Complex chassis and bearing grease is thick and tan in color probably the color of light butterscotch or vanilla pudding. You also can't get a better grease.

In Harbor Freight today, they have the same Sta-lube grease in tubes. It is tan color.

Dirk, I know it might be a bit more expensive, but they make tanning creams that would probably work better at giving you that healthy glow.

I think he needs a secret means to break the slip and slide speed record.
