These Grammer errors are common and not new...
But, it is Pleaded, not Pled:
Pleaded vs. pled - Grammarist
My pet peeve is "No Problem". Like a waitress will say "No Problem" instead of "you are welcome" after thanks are given for filling a water glass.
Of course it is no problem...but thanks are much more appreciated.
And erroneously pronounced words with the middle "T" missing...like:
Button pronounced "bu-on"
Important pronounced "impor-ant"
Have found these are most common with millenials

People, and intelligent and supposedly educated ones, who start out every post, or conversation with the word "So", drive me up the wall. Where did that come from? When I see that, I stop reading.

Two,to,too. Than and then not used properly . (Than it becomes a problem rather than, then it becomes a problem) . When idea is expressed followed by non needed remark of "that being said". Why is this used for what was just said?

As funny as many of the comments are (and they are hysterical !) . It truly is a sad testament to our society today and what we deem to be acceptable. Being in business . . I have had to try to hire staff that had no command of our spoken English language , not even mentioning written because they cannot spell.

My pet peeve is: people who say “Real-A-tor”.
I am a Realtor, and sadly, I even hear other REALTORS say ‘real-a-tor’ or ‘real-a-ty’.
What I expect them to say next is “Now I are one”

I can't stand "Me and him/her" instead of "He/she and I".

What about Live and live?
Or lead, lead, and, led?
There is no question the English language is a difficult one, I personally still have trouble with affect and effect. And I am just old enough to remember the war against Ain't.
Granted that was still 20-25 years ago.

I'm tired of the auto correct excuses. How many on here actually do a quick proof read of a post before sending it so as to not look like a maroon? I do.

I'll be the first to admit that I do not proof read what I write. Usually I catch some mistakes in a post-read through.
